Each Summer, youth and adults from Christ The King participate in a Mission Trip to spread Christ’s love to people in other parts of Florida. Previous groups have journeyed to inner cities like downtown Atlanta and areas in Florida hit hard by recent hurricanes. In 2009, Pastor Nate and Leslie led a group of 40 high school youth and young adults to Immokalee, Florida, an area still ravaged by the effects of Hurricane Wilma in 2005 and considered to be one of the poorest areas of the state. Plans are being made for several additional trips in 2009 and 2010 for young adults, high school students and families. Stay tuned for more details.
